Studio Hatch transformed a 2,600-square-foot rooftop terrace at the centre of Gurugram into a perfect social hub. This area combines bright, colourful features, industrial design, and work and play while encapsulating the dynamic energy of the city.
The project requirement was to create a contemporary room that was more than stark white minimalism. The idea was to convert the terrace into a place suitable for hosting vibrant parties. The chosen style was “Industrial aesthetic,” which incorporated raw elements like glass, steel, and concrete with striking red accents to liven up the area and capture the clients’ vibrant personalities.
The terrace’s main feature is a bold piece of art in electric red that creates a vibrant atmosphere. Hints of greenery can be seen behind a curved glass wall with translucent blocks, adding an extra dimension of mystery. The deck, furnished with luxurious sofas and bar stools, guarantees comfort while tying in with the terrace’s raw look.
A striking bar area combining whimsical elegance and industrial chicks is the focal point. It is the social centre because of the contrast between its refined grey hues and bright red tones. The marble countertop echoes the metal ceiling above, and the lighted shelves and mirror backdrop further enhance the space’s depth and visual intrigue. This bar is a social hub and a design statement in addition to being useful.
A projection wall that turns the terrace into an outdoor theatre for movie experiences under the stars enhances its allure. A modest powder facility adjacent to the bar guarantees guests convenience.
A two-stepped seating area surrounded by lush flora that softens the industrial edge provides a cosy space for smaller meetings in a more personal setting. Metal panels provide texture and visual interest while separating the property from the neighbouring areas and establishing a private haven.
During evenings, the terrace is transformed into a cosy, welcoming area with subtle lighting, creating a fresh mood. With its flawless fusion of colourful details and industrial features, Studio Hatch has undoubtedly transformed this rooftop into a destination for special, memorable occasions.
