Pramod Group, under the creative guidance of Principal Designer Ritu Gupta, has successfully crafted a 2,340-square-foot apartment in New Delhi that seamlessly merges classic and contemporary aesthetics. The design vision was clear from the outset: to create a home that transcends time, blending sophistication with carefully curated elements.
Upon entering the residence, the open living-dining space immediately captures attention. Visual harmony is achieved through the strategic use of materials, with Fumed Oak veneer wall panelling and Botticino Marble flooring connecting the spaces. This area serves as a hub for family gatherings and relaxation, featuring an inviting L-shaped upholstered sofa, a substantial wooden coffee table with metal legs, and modern pouffes.
The interiors are bathed in natural light, thanks to strategically positioned windows that establish a strong connection with the surrounding environment. The colour palette is a delicate selection of pastel hues, complemented by furnishings from renowned brands such as Seasons Furnishings, Sarita Handa, and Jaipur Rugs.
The living-dining space is adorned with a well-thought-out entertainment-cum-display unit, seamlessly extending the Fumed Oak veneer wall panelling. Glass shelves showcase accessories from Ikka Dukka, Home Artisans, Pure Home Living, The House of Things, and Veda Homes, adding a personalised touch to the ambiance. A wooden console/cabinet from The House of Things featuring a verdant forest print introduces a captivating element.
Moving to the dining area, a wood and veneer dining table with upholstered chairs takes centre stage. The backdrop is a striking black and white wallpaper depicting a lush forest, perfectly complementing the bespoke design of the furniture. The illumination is equally captivating, with a cluster of bulbs sourced from Ivanka Lumiere to highlight the dining table.
The kitchen, a custom-designed masterpiece, features a beige-hued laminate from Rehau and a Karara Extra stone countertop, combining functionality with aesthetics. The four bedrooms in the residence are meticulously designed to cater to the comfort and unique preferences of the occupants. The master bedroom stands out with its bed-back wall showcasing a bespoke printed fabric panel, creating a serene retreat.
In addition to the bedrooms, the residence includes a thoughtfully designed home office, complete with a working desk, chairs, and sleek cabinets and shelves.
