This property, designed by Santosh Belani and Gaurav Panjwani, combines grandeur and cosiness and provides a respite from the city’s hustle while expressing its vibrant energy. Every design element, from materials to layout, tells a story and is a living work of art.
Upon entering, the foyer sets the tone with a neutral palette and Bhaskar Rao Botcha’s magnificent “Tree of Life” painting. The painting’s exquisite features and brilliant colours represent growth and connectivity, while its gold frame evokes grandeur. This artwork leads into the spacious living and dining area, which exudes elegance and artistic expression. A bold 8-foot picture draws attention, while a marble centre table and fluted wooden ceiling add refinement.
A sculptural breakfast island, with its marble surface and live-edge wood supported by delicate metal legs that blend luxury and organic grace, serves as a dining space and an art piece. A peaceful pooja spot provides a spiritual vibe to the surroundings.
The guest bedroom features neutral tones and traditional craftsmanship, including a carved wooden bed frame that combines contemporary style with India’s artisanal traditions. The tiny family space, intended for comfort, comprises a TV room and children’s rooms, with the son’s room featuring dramatic design features and the daughter’s presenting a whimsical, soft environment.
The master bedroom exudes elegance with its earthy tones, wood panelling, and raw, tactile finish. Architectural accents, such as arched niches and weathered pendant lights, provide warmth and character, while the black-and-white tile motif in the bathroom carries the look throughout.
