Our goal in migrating the clients from a bigger 3800 sq ft property was to maintain the grandeur and utility they were used to while creating a more intimate but equally spectacular environment.
The customers, known for their outstanding taste and well-curated collection of art and artefacts, posed a unique challenge: honouring each object without dominating the room. Every aspect of this home needed to reflect their appreciation of art while maintaining elegance and functionality.
The entrance was diligently created with a rich green tone that sets the tone for a home with bright colours and intelligent textures. The entrance creates a magnificent sense of arrival, welcoming guests into a living space that flows perfectly into the remainder of the house. The bar space, built as the central point, blends effortlessly with the dining and living areas, creating an ideal environment for personal family moments and bigger groups.
With storage as a top focus, custom cabinetry and integrated solutions were used throughout the house to ensure that utility never compromised aesthetics. The dining space, for example, has a sleek sliding door that links to the kitchen, creating an open yet organised atmosphere.
