Valcucine’s V-Motion 2.0 combines technology, design, and wellness to create a connected kitchen that is simple, adaptable, and intelligent.
Valcucine presents an innovation that redefines the kitchen experience in the context of connected scenarios, where design, technology, and human interaction converge, establishing a new milestone in ergonomic research, in which it is a pioneer. Thanks to a collaboration with Nice, a leader in home management solutions, Logica Celata and Air Logica have developed V-Motion 2.0, a new technology that transforms the kitchen into a smarter and more connected space. An ecosystem in which openings and closures, lighting, and materials work together to create a fluid and natural interaction with the home environment.
V-Motion 2.0 is a significant improvement over the previous system: unlike the previous version, which was solely based on gesture recognition, V-Motion 2.0 provides four interaction modes, expanding usage possibilities and adapting to different needs. Furthermore, this implementation enables the door to be made from a variety of materials other than glass, such as tech ceramic, MDi, precious metals, and stainless steel, providing new aesthetic and design options.
Nice Technology’s integration into Valcucine is the result of group synergy: both companies are members of BeNice Holding, an organisation that promotes innovation and technological development to improve the quality of life in living spaces. The convergence of design, ergonomics, and smart technology reflects a common philosophy: creating environments that combine beauty, functionality, and well-being, with an emphasis on sustainability and energy consumption optimisation, resulting in true “Connected Scenarios.

V-Motion 2.0: All the Details
The advanced V-Motion 2.0 system complements Valcucine’s Logica Celata and Air Logica, which have already transformed kitchen design by concealing and revealing a highly functional workspace. The kitchen experience becomes even more seamless, customisable, and connected.
Four ways to interact with the kitchen
Nice technology allows Logica Celata and Air Logica to be controlled in four different modes:
SmartLift: with a light upward touch, the door opens smoothly, regardless of length (up to 3.6 meters). The backsplash light turns on automatically, and the tap rotates. To close, simply press down, and the movement will end gently and quietly.
Remote Control: With a simple click, you can control the opening and closing of the door, as well as the lighting.
The Yubii Home App allows you to remotely open and close the door, control lighting, and create personalised scenarios for each moment of the day, making the culinary experience more efficient and enjoyable. The Yubii Home app comes pre-configured for kitchen use, but it can be expanded to cover the entire home automation system, integrating with compatible devices and opening up a world of possibilities.
Voice Assistant: With Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility, you can control the kitchen with simple voice commands, such as opening and closing the door, adjusting lighting, and customising the environment to your preferences for a more intuitive experience.
Unlimited materials
With V-Motion 2.0 technology, the Air Logica and Logica Celata doors can now be made from a wider range of materials, expanding design options. In addition to glass, Valcucine’s signature material, you can now select tech ceramic, MDi, precious metal, and stainless steel for an even more personalised kitchen space.

Advanced Safety
The existing protection system has been enhanced to provide even greater safety in daily use. In the event of an obstacle during closure, the door no longer becomes stuck but instead reverses the movement and rises automatically, making use even more practical and safe.
Light and Well-being
The backsplash lighting is intended to amplify space and create an overwhelming atmosphere, with a variety of customisable colours to help you select the best light for your needs based on your mood, the natural light available, or the atmosphere you want to create at the time.
In addition to various gradations of white light, which can range from warm to cool, you can choose shades inspired by nature’s elements – fire, earth, water, and air – or create a circadian cycle that mimics the natural rhythm of daylight, promoting psychological and physical well-being. The effect is surprisingly realistic, ranging from the morning blue, which stimulates awakening, to the warm tones of sunset, which guide the body in its natural biological rhythm.
An exclusive integration
Valcucine’s V-Motion 2.0 is an exclusive system developed in collaboration with Nice to provide superior comfort and innovation. It is incompatible with other automation systems: those who choose Logica Celata or Air Logica without V-Motion 2.0 will receive a manual version that retains Valcucine’s quality and attention to detail.
